In Lake Iskar , there are many species of fish including trout, pike, bream and carp due to the clean water and constant fresh water supply. Let the groom enjoy at least one peaceful day before he gets married. Your friends will enjoy pristine nature and peaceful surroundings. Transfers and equipment is included; guides on request basis. Bucket of beers and BBQ can be arranged.
Although you can go fishing all year around, fishing is most popular in the Rila area during the summer period. Due to consistently warm weather conditions through out July & August fishing has always been a local’s occupation and a way to provide tasty dinner for the family or just a great way to take your mind off the day to day rigors of life.
Iskar Lake is a home for many trout, pike, bream and carp due to the clean water and constant fresh water supplies. Immerse your friends in a peaceful surrounding and hear nature’s movements. Enjoyed our fly fishing on a stag weekend in Borovets. We caught Trout and carp. Biggest catch of the day was around 10kg. Nice and peaceful; well organized. High standard equipment. Thank you.

Excellent fly fishing day tour with Go-Borovets. Weather was great and the fishes were biting. We made some decent catches and always returned the fish. We are ecological fisherman. Equipment was ok; fit for purposes. For me it was the highlight of our stay.

We stayed at Hotel Samokov as part of a sales conference. As well as the conference we also had sales team building events. Some of the smaller teams had choices to do half day activities like horse riding, fishing, hiking etc… My team decided to do the fishing on Lake Iskar. We all caught trout and afterwards our guides oragnised a lovely BBQ – they cooked the trout in foil and smothered in lemon juice; it was totally delicious.
