If you are in Sofia we can pick you up kit you out and organise your ski pass for the day and transfer you back to the capital in the afternoon. This is very popular with individuals who are doing a city break in Sofia. It is also a good option for a ski stag weekend in Bulgaria. For ski days it is also something we can arrange for companies who may want to get the team together. Our equipment is of the highest quality and our transfer guides are multi-lingual and hand picked for their knowledge and fun natures.

This Olympic winter ski resort is extremely close to Sofia airport. The transfer time from airport to resort is only 1hr 15 minutes, so it’s a great option for a weekend ski break. Borovets offers over 50km of pisted runs and has a nice selection of blues, reds and blacks. It is extremely good value for money, so for beginners or people on a budget then it is a sensible choice.
The après ski nightlife in Borovets is very lively and widely known for its cheap food and drink prices. As a consequence this Bulgarian snow resort does attract a lot of ski stag weekends. It is a big enough resort to swallow up the bachelor party crowd but it is something to be mindful of when choosing your hotel. The affect of ski stag holidays doesn’t affect the overall charms of the resort, so couples and families shouldn’t be put off.
The snow in Borovets is consistently good every season and there is a huge coverage of snow canons (but rarely needed). Borovets has its own micro-climate so even when its warm in Sofia its often snowing in Borovets. The Rila mountains are at an altitude of 1350m and the highest ski point is 2729m. Our tips for skiing here are to avoid the February half term and come in March. You’ll find more cheap flights to Sofia during this month.
As well as downhill skiing we can also arrange snow boarding stag weekends, ski touring, snow mobile rides and snow shoeing. The lift system in Borovets offers an excellent range of chair lifts and a gondola to take you to the other side, which is often preferred by snowboarders.
We offer all types of equipment, daily lift passes and helmet rental. We exclude insurance and winter clothing. We also offer daily ski school, and 1-1 instruction if required. We booked a ski stag weekend in Borovets with you. We were a large party from Wales who wanted to do 2 days of skiing. We considered Vitosha but that seemed a bit limited, and we fancied staying in a resort rather than a city. Borovets was ideal. Snow was fantastic during our stay and very lively après ski nightlife. So very suitable for bachelor party antics. Although to be fair, there were alot of hen parties too. The trip was very well organised. Ski equipment was decent no problems at all and our guide who travelled with us was really helpful throughout. Thanks again

Part of Simon Williams stag do in Sofia. Seven of my team decided it would be good to use our free day for a cheeky bit of skiing. This ski tour was ideal as we were collected from the Radisson where we were actually staying and everything was organised. Ski equipment, lift passes, transfers etc ran like clockwork… we only needed to bring our ski clothes and show our guide our winter ski insurance. A very good service! A must-do if you fancy taking advantage of the great Bulgarian winter conditions.

On a stag do in Sofia. Myself and a few friends really fancied a bit of skiing and we found Go Borovets online. The ski day was ideal for us. No hassle no fuss. Pick up and drop off included. Friendly guide and we only booked 24 hours prior so it meant we could choose the best snow conditions. Skiing was terrific; ideal for a day on the slopes. As an experienced skier, i would say that Borovets has 4 full days of ski potential, then you might get bored. Value for money, it can’t be beaten.
